Ingredients
1) For the top layer:1/4 teaspoon
2) salt1 teaspoon
3) oil 1 cup
4) refined flour0.5 cups of water
5) To fill: 1 teaspoon oil
6) 1 minced garlic clove
7) 1 minced large onion
8) 1 cup grated cabbage
9) 1 cup grated carrot
10) 1/2 teaspoon salt
11) Chopped 1/2 tbsp
12) coriander
13) 1.5 teaspoons of black pepper powder
Marination:
14) 50 ml of curd
16)Ginger-garlic paste
17) one teaspoon of black pepper powder
18) 1 teaspoon
19)1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
19) 1 teaspoon dried coriander Cumin powder
20) 1 teaspoon1/2 tbsp besan to flavor
21 )salt1 tsp
22)chaat masala
Instruction
- To make the covering, combine refined flour, salt, and oil in a sizable bowl. Then, add water and knead a nice dough. Give it 20 minutes to relax. Making the stuffing:1. Add a garlic clove and some onions to a skillet of hot oil. When it becomes translucent, sauté thoroughly.
- Now include the carrot, cabbage, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly, then simmer until soft under a cover.
- After around 20 minutes, roll out little balls from the prepared momos dough.
- Spoon roughly a spoonful of stuffing into the center of the dough.
- Pull the dough together with your fingers, pleat one side to the other, and seal with your fingers.
- Once the steamer is hot, add the momos, spacing them apart. Allow it to steam for ten minutes at most.
- Create the tandoori marinade
- Combine the curd and the remaining marinade ingredients in a big basin.
- Be sure to blend all the spices together thoroughly.
- After the momos have been steaming, add them to the marinade and let them sit for an hour.
- Now, preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 200°C. Put parchment paper on the baking sheet and set it aside.
- Set the momos that have been marinated in the baking dish.
- Bake them for 10 minutes, or until they are blackened. Serve chaat masala-topped tandoori momos with a sweet-and-sour dip.
